The itinerary

Discover a customized trip designed to match your preferences. The prices listed are estimates and may change based on your selections, but we’re here to adjust accordingly. Just schedule a complimentary discovery call, and we’ll discuss crafting your ideal escape!

day 1 – El Calafate

After arriving at EOLO on our private transfer, you’ll have some time to relax and unwind. Then, our proposal for the day is a trekking activity organized by the hotel where you’ll get the chance to recognize the flora and fauna of the surroundings. You’ll also have the choice to ride the bicycles at the hotel to enjoy the nature around you or opt for a horseback riding experience too. This day is yours to enjoy! Remember, you have all meals included during your stay here.

Day 2 – El Calafate

Good morning! Be sure to get the fuel needed for a full day outdoors while choosing what to have for breakfast today! You’ll go to the Perito Moreno glacier. Here, we chose to give you two options so you can choose based on your preferences. Both experiences include the visit to the walkways.

1. Minitrekking: a short navigation in front of the glacier and a trekking with crampons accompanied by mountain guides. The ice trek lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. It’s a unique and unforgettable experience. (From 8 to 65 years old).

2. Big Ice: it starts at the same point as the Minitrekking, with the difference that you practically reach the center of the glacier. The trekking includes two hours of walking through the Andean forest and 3 hours on the glacier. Ideal for adventurous people. (From 18 to 50 years old).

Day 3 – Puerto Natales

As you leave the amazing experience in El Calafate, hop on our private transfer and arrive at Puerto Natales after three and a half hours of traveling. You’ll be amazed at the hotel and our first activity will be to get to know its history. The Singular Patagonia was built at the former Puerto Bories Cold Storage Plant (declared a National Monument in 1996). In the transit areas of the museum-hotel, antique machinery is still intact and visible. This guided tour allows you to immerse yourself in the history that gave origin to the Sociedad Explotadora Tierra del Fuego in 1915, the most important cold storage plant in Chilean-Argentinean Patagonia.

Remember, you have all meals included during your stay here.

Day 4 – Puerto Natales

Discovering Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine is considered the world´s 8th natural wonder. You will stop at several privileged viewpoints of the park to see the iconic granite peaks and colorful lakes such as Nordenskjöld, Sarmiento, Pehoé, and Paine Cascade. While trekking, you will discover some of the fauna and flora of the area and we will learn more about the park’s water and rock prehistorical formations. The experience includes lunch and snacks.

Day 5 – Puerto Natales

Navigation to the fjords and glaciers

You’ll depart from The Singular’s dock to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. During an hour and a half of navigation time between the fjords, you may observe colonies of sea lions and other animal species. After arriving, you’ll disembark at the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. After a short hike, you’ll reach the closest viewpoint of the glacier, allowing the time and the opportunity to take photos and learn more about glacier formation. Once you return to the vessel, you’ll slowly navigate to the front of the Balmaceda glacier and admire its natural beauty. You’ll continue navigating to a working Estancia, and enjoy a typical Patagonian lunch and horseback ride or trek within Estancia’s land. When you return to the hotel, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to relax as you prepare to board the Australis Cruise the following morning.

Day 6 – Australis

Australis – Check In Day

Between 13:00 and 17:00 hrs, you’ll check-in at Muelle Prat (EPA) to embark at 18:00 hrs (arriving on our included private transfer from Punta Arenas). Once onboard, you’ll be part of a welcome toast and introduced to the Captain and his crew. The ship will sail to the far south immediately after. Through the mythical Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, you’ll travel through Patagonia and the fjords of Tierra del Fuego.

Day 7 – Australis

Ainsworth Bay – Tuckers Islets

You’ll arrive in the vicinity of the Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay where you’ll learn how life resurfaces after the ice has melted. You’ll then hike through the wonderful sub-Antarctic Magellanic forest. You’ll also visit the Tuckers Islets, where you’ll see Magellanic penguins and cormorants from the Zodiacs.

***In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a hike near a glacier in Brookes Bay.

Day 8 – Australis

Pia Glacier – Glacier Alley

You’ll sail along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark in the Pia Fjord. You’ll sail to the viewpoint from where you can see the homonymous glacier, whose main peak extends from the top of the mountain range to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, you’ll continue the navigation under the majestic gaze of “Glacier Alley”.

Day 9 – Australis

Cape Horn – Wulaia Bay

You’ll arrive at the Cape Horn National Park, where you’ll disembark, if the weather conditions are suitable, to experience the magic of walking through one of the southernmost points of the world. In the afternoon, you’ll disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historic site of one of the largest settlements of the native Yagans canoeists. You’ll reach a viewpoint, walking through the Magellanic forest in which lengas, coigües, canelos and ferns grow, among other species.

Day 10 – Ushuaia

Disembark at around 8:30 AM the Australis Cruise at Ushuaia’s port to start your adventure through our last stop. This will be a chill day after 4 days of adventures sailing the sea. Arrive on our private transfer, check in at your hotel, and prepare for a one-hour horseback riding experience at 3pm. Then you’ll have the whole day to relax in the in-and-out heated pool and spa at the hotel.

Day 11 – Ushuaia

***As the second day in the southernmost city in the world starts, you’ll prepare to face the outdoors again with a trek to Laguna Esmeralda. Once you reach the lagoon, you’ll enjoy a lunch box with a hot beverage (included) with the most amazing views out there. This experience is available all year round and you’ll be back at the hotel by 4:00 PM to enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 12 – Ushuaia

***This day calls for adventure! At 9:00 AM you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a true expedition. Experts in off-road driving offer you an authentic 4×4 journey. On board, you will cross the forest and rivers along impossible mud roads, between disused roads, on the edge of the famous Lake Fagnano or Khami with unique views. Garibaldi Pass through The Andes, the Hidden Lake, and Lake Fagnano are just some of the highlights. Lunch is included in a beautiful refuge, where you’ll enjoy the famous Argentine meat roasted in the forest along with good Argentine wine.

Day 13 – End of Trip

Prepare to check out of your accommodation and head to the airport on your private transfer as we say our last farewell and wish you the best flight back home! We hope to see you again soon!

*** The proposed excursions and tours are available year-round and can be replaced by:

*A walk with penguins (from November till March): Full-day experience where you’ll take a motor boat to Martillo Island. From the boat, you can see penguins in their breeding site. The motorboat ride then continues to the main attraction of the day: the enormous Gable Island, where lunch awaits us (not included). Then, the walk begins to explore this wonderful island. Along the way you will find remains left behind by the Yámana civilization and the first settlers.

*Vinciguerra Glacier Trekking (from November till April): Full-day experience starting at the Andorra Valley. The walk begins bordering a melting river, from where you can observe the characteristic peat bogs. Once in the forest, the ascent is constant, and once you have overcome the limit of the vegetation, you will reach the foot of this imposing glacier and its melting lagoon, the ideal setting to enjoy a delicious box lunch with a hot drink (included).

My wife and I had one of the most memorable trips of our life in large part thanks to the experience at EOLO. The manager, Valentin, and the entire EOLO crew was kind, welcoming, generous and wonderful. What a truly amazing property and staff. The resort is immaculate, the team tries to make every request possible, and we felt like they wanted our trip to be perfect. From airport transfer to custom meals, and from horseback rides to amazing massages, EOLO does it all.

EOLO is exceptional in every way. The location is perfect. The bedroom is the best designed room I have ever stayed in (I am in my mid 60’s). The room also had the best view I have ever experienced from the privacy of my own bed. The service and wines were outstanding. The menu changed every day. I extended my trip within 24 hours of arriving. It is pure delight and makes me tingle to think of it. I will return.

We were told about this restaurant by our hosts (we stayed a few minutes away). The outside is unassuming, you wouldn't dream what you will find. The location of the hotel is by the water and the restaurant is down a few steps, hidden. It's a gem! The service is wonderful.. beyond exemplary: incredibly friendly but absolutely professional. We fell in love with the staff and very much at home. The food was delicious, the atmosphere luxurious. Don't miss it!

We went to the restaurant and it is simply spectacular. The place, the service and the food are simply wonderful. The price is more than reasonable for what they offer, it is a balance between quality and price. Highly recommended if you want to give yourself a small tribute in Chilean Patagonia. Variety of signature dishes, with innovative flavor combinations, with great results. The attention is outstanding. The environment of the Singular hotel is as its name says, since it has a museum in the old engine room, which is quite innovative. Reservations must be made in advance. We were lucky to be served by great staff called: Diego and José. They have a funicular entrance, I didn't expect that. This hotel is from another world. The old part of the Frigorífico and the restaurant are very well preserved. Thank you for this incredible experience on my visit to southern Chile.

A unique experience that made my trip to this incredible place memorable. From the kindness and professionalism of all the staff (Felipe, Matías, Nicolás...all excellent professionals who make you feel at home) to the unbeatable location, the excellent food - if you are not lucky enough to stay at the hotel, at least Make a reservation for dinner and enjoy a little piece of the magic that is breathed in the place - an incredible spa and the care of all the small details... EVERYTHING makes you never want to leave this incredible hotel. It is not only Singular, but also SPECTACULAR.

Spectacular 5 star hotel on the shores of the soundThe good:* Beautifu large rooms facing the sound* Very comfortable beds* Large well appointed bathroom* Very good main restaurant (the other restaurant El Asador only opens for groups)* Beautiful grounds* Delicious lunch packs can be ordered for take away on outings* Good location for tour to glaciers from Wharf nearbyThe bad:* Service at check in and check out was unusual* We were told we could take a box of breakfast goodies for take away to our tour but no such thing existed according to breakfast staff* A long walk from town* No gym. Unusual for a hotel charging these prices and with this amount of space.* Too expensive. At this price I expect perfection which it wasn't able to offer.ConclusionI loved the rooms and the view at the hotel however I probably wouldn't stay here again. There is a lovely 3 star hotel with the same view down the road which would be more than satisfactory especially if you are spending most of your time out of the room.

A stunning place and location. A great entry to the Patagonia. Uniquely designed in a space that was once a meat factory.Had a pleasant check out experience.Due to a massive flight delays and re route with many hours drive etc… I arrived at 4 am in the morning. Only could sleep for three hours and spent less than 12 hours there although a fully inclusive package was paid for.Had the tour around the hotel which finished at 12:15. Knowing that check out was at noon I made a point to go to the reception to let them know that I would be slightly late. They called me when I was back in the room - with a seemingly “accusatory and not courteous tone” that demanded that I leave the room immediately. When I went to the reception, they said “we don’t care what happened or when you arrived, check out is at noon….”Sorry… not acceptable as a five star establishment when you can’t find a more “hospitable” way to say the same thing. Especially not for the price I paid.

Without a doubt the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. We spent 2 nights for our honeymoon after backpacking the W trek. Everything (food, service, atmosphere) was exceptional. The building and view are gorgeous, pictures don’t do it justice. And it feels very private due to being a smaller hotel. We also didn’t opt in to any excursions, but the hotel seems to offer really great trips (we overhead many talking about how great it was). Definitely recommend a visit!!

Expensive but worth it. Beautiful setting, immaculate presentation and service. Beautiful furnishings and the walk through the preserved industrial machinery makes it for a special place to go for lunch or dinner. The lamb was cooked to perfection, it just fell off the bone.

I stayed with my mother and brother at the hotel. Everything was really nice, however on the last day my mom forgot a silver chain with a giant cross, which has a lot of meaning for her, inside a changing table on a shelf (I can attest because I saw it minutes before leaving the room ). We called the hotel that day and they told us that they had found nothing. We asked you to please check again, they didn't give us a ticket.Days before we had rented snow clothing that they left exclusively at the hotel and they told us that was not the case, so they had not received anything. We contacted the clothing company who had to call the hotel and only there were they able to find it.In that sense we were left with a bitter taste about the staff's attention.Regarding the hotel and what it offers we cannot complain! 10/10 everything, spa rooms, breakfast, food.

Located on the Alarkén hill with 360° views of the City, the Beagle Channel and the mountain range behind it. Entering through its winding path, begins the experience that exceeds the average of other 5-star hotels.Special mention:STAFF: High level, 0 errors, excellence in treatment and work. When they say "let's solve your concern," they solve it.BAR AND RESTAURANT: Grillers, pastry chefs, chef, etc. the same, excellent.ROOMS AND COMMON AREAS: Spa, bar, restaurant, etc. are of a high standard. Rare high technology. Very high food level. They offer the most varied range of activities during the day.Storage of equipment, "all inclusive" service (you could say) for the ski day (transfers, equipment, etc., which I did not use due to lack of knowledge).Trekking with different trails,360 Viewpoint. Depending on the time of year, the options are different.Transfer service every hour, hour and a half from very early until late that connects with the city center. (No ski equipment and no cost). It's not just an overnight stay, it's a whole experience. It is part of "LEADING HOTELS OF THE WORLD" (only 5 or 6 hotels in Argentina belong).

A place with a privileged view of the city, canal and mountains. We only went to the spa and the bar. The staff is always very friendly. Things were very neat and everything was clean. It has pools, jacuzzis, indoor/outdoor. The hotel is on the hill, but there is a free shuttle that makes round-trip transfers from the center to the hotel at different times throughout the day, a great goal. If you don't have tights they can lend you some but there is little variety, but if not you can improvise something 😅. The only bad thing was that the cold water outside made a layer of ice on the floor, on which one of us slipped and hurt her hand badly, and after that they just notified us and cleaned it up.

It could be much better given the chain it belongs to. The service for spa day is terrible. The changing rooms are tiny, without light, and the lockers lack maintenance. The area staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. They demanded a key to the locker that had been delivered, but since they don't pay attention to serving the customer, these things happen to them! The rest of the hotel deserves neither good nor bad comments. Much to improve!!!!

It seems that 10 years does not suit the Arakur hotel 😟It is our second year at the hotel, first of all I want to clarify that last year was a 10 and that is why we returned.Of course the view is beautiful, and the hotel itself is also very nice, but I don't know if it is worthy of a 5-star rating (or it would be a 5-star Argentine style 😬) since it is far from being that way. For example, this year the pool area has a very unpleasant smell (like fish 🤢), the edges have fungus (which I kept asking my daughter not to touch) and the edge of the glass that separates the outdoor pool from The interior is all rusty, dirty and with 0 maintenance. Those who come to ski (as was our case) keep in mind that the access road to the hotel is not always well maintained, so the buses that take you to the hill in the early hours will not be able to get off, which means that You arrive at the base around 11 in the morning (missing the classes you have taken early and entry to your little ones' school). On the other hand, make sure that they give you the room you requested, we asked for a sea view and they gave us a partial view, which obviously the next day they changed it for us, but to do so they opened the safe and moved our belongings without authorization (we They had told us to go skiing and upon our return we would change everything) 🤨Well, in order not to bore you so much, I think that those who want to spend their holidays without these unpleasant things that are far from being first class, can opt for other 5-star hotel options until the Arakur recovers from the 10-year celebrations. 😉

The staff made me feel right at home, and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you're in need of a peaceful retreat, look no further.

This is a fantastic hotel. The views are amazing and the hotel exudes quality. I stayed here before going on a cruise and would definitely recommend staying here if you go to Ushuaia. The views from the rooms are right down over the town and the mountains in Chile. The spa is fantastic, including an indoor swimming pool and outdoor thermal pools with views down over the town. It has a small sauna you can book too.Breakfast was excellent. Really good choice from the buffet, plus you could order eggs etc how you wanted them. I also had lunch here which was the same high quality. The bar also has a good selection of wines. The rooms are really comfortable, with lovely beds. The service is excellent. The only issue is the checkout time, which is 10am. Most hotels its 11 or 12. However they will hold your bags. They also have a small bus down to the town and back at least once an hour, which is free.To top it off there are some lovely walks behind the hotel, which are fully mapped out, including a viewpoint that is worth a visit. If you are not in to walking, there is a viewing room on top of the hotel with amazing views, the stairs are at the spa end of the hotel on the 4th floor. If you are visiting Ushuaia, this is the place to stay.

If you are one the fence about staying here- DO IT. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, the amenities are fantastic and the staff is superb. It is located a little further out of town but we had no issues getting rides back and forth on the resort shuttle or Uber (if we didn't want to wait for the shuttle), and it is a beautiful ride down the mountain. The more remote location also means great views and some really nice hiking trails immediately adjacent to the hotel. The staff is awesome- everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff were friendly and welcoming and really helpful. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The restaurant is quite good and the pool/spa are fantastic.

Beautiful views of the city. Food at the restaurant was top notch epic. We had their dinner and breakfast buffet. There is a free shuttle if you want to go into town. The pool, hot tub area was pretty crowded though.
