Day 1 – Purmamarca

After arriving at Salta International Airport, you’ll be picked up by our private transfer and we’ll take you to Purmamarca, your first stop on this trip. Please sit back and relax, the views are nothing short of spectacular! This first day is for you to relax, we know traveling can be tiring. Enjoy what the hotel has to offer. Our recommendation: head directly to the spa!

Day 2 – Purmamarca

Good morning! Be sure to have a full breakfast as the day awaits with many adventures! Explore a full day of adventure starting from the lodging and making your way to El Porito Viewpoint. Embark on a 3-kilometer hike at Los Colorados with a low-intensity walk, followed by a visit to the Antena Viewpoint for a medium-intensity 1- kilometer hike. Refuel with a delightful included lunch at Los Morteros Restaurant before continuing the journey to explore the charming villages of Patacal, Quisquiri, and La Cienaga, including a visit to the Ci.Pa.Qui Sweets Factory. As the day winds down, return to Purmamarca to catch the breathtaking sunset from Cerro El Morado Viewpoint before heading back to the lodging for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 – Pristine Camp

Jump on our private transfer to Piedras Blancas where you’ll be picked up by another private transfer and taken directly to the camp. The first day at the camp is not short to extraordinary. Visit Pristine Camps’ exclusive Piletones del Salar (Salt Pools) to learn about the salt extraction process. After sunset, a magical experience comes alive where you’ll get to interpret the constellations at night.

* Meals included throughout the whole stay.

Day 4 – Pristine Camp

Full Day Excursion to Barrancas. It is an archaeological interpretation experience where you visit the Municipal Reserve, the “Piedra Mapa” circuit and the new Archeology Interpretation Center of the town of Barrancas. Includes gourmet lunch in the bed of the Barrancas River. The tour is done aboard a vehicle or combined with trekking (optional).

Day 5 – Pristine Camp

As you start your third day at the camp, fuel up to enjoy a day full of tradition. Full Day Excursion to Alfarcito. During the tour, you will visit the town of Alfarcito and its main attractions, the viewpoint of the town and the town of Rinconadilla. Includes lunch at the Alfarcito Community Center or at the Guayatayoc lagoon, depending on the season.

Day 6 – Salta

As you wake up on your last morning in Purmamarca, our private transfer will pick you up after breakfast and take you to Salta, the next stop on this trip. At the hotel, we invite you to a two-hour horseback ride experience. The gauchos will guide you through the paths and hideaways of the Estancia. Then, our next activity prepared for you is an empanada cooking class with the chef. We start by making the dough. Then it’s time to prepare the empanada filling. Salteñas empanadas are known for having potatoes in the filling. During the workshop, you’ll learn to make different types of fillings. Once the filling is ready, you’ll master the famous “repulgue” technique. It takes a bit of practice, but by the end of the class, you’ll be an expert at “repulgue.” Congratulations, Your empanadas are ready to go in the oven!

Day 7 – Salta

Today you’ll get to venture into San Antonio de Cobres. Starting from Salta and heading southwest on National Route 51 through the Lerma Valley, you’ll pass Campo Quijano and enter the Quebrada del Toro. Here begins a continuous ascent, always accompanied by the tracks of the famous Tren de las Nubes (Train to the Clouds). We reach the village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, visit its ruins of the same name, and continue ascending to the highest point at 4080 meters above sea level, known as Abra Blanca. Afterward, you’ll descend to San Antonio where, following lunch and a village visit, we return to Salta.

Special Highlights:
* Experience Turu Maky, where we engage with women from a cooperative dedicated to crafting artisanal ceramics. During this activity, they teach us about their raw material (clay), how they process it, and even invite us to create a piece with our own hands. The piece remains with the cooperative, and we take home one that another visitor has already made and fired.

* Visit Anatolio and his llamas enterprise. Anatolio is a young llama herder who will guide us into the life of shepherding, sharing his anecdotes, stories, and experiences amidst his own llama herd.

Day 8 – Salta

This day is full of adventure. It’s time to see what Cachi has to offer. You’ll start from the south through the Lerma Valley, passing through the towns of El Carril and Chicoana. Another stop is Puente Malcante, and then you continue on Route 33 through two ravines – Quebrada de los Laureles and Quebrada de Escoipe. Other stops include Cuesta del Obispo, Valle Encantado, Piedra del Molino, and the impressive Nevado de Cachi, a group of snowy mountains. For a foodie break, it’s time to have the included lunch at a Bodega Puna, enjoying local wines too. Finally, you arrive in Cachi, where you have an hour of free time to explore the town at your leisure. Admire its historical architecture, from the whitewashed adobe houses to the 16th-century church, a National Historic Monument. Afterward, gather with your guide to return to Salta.

Day 9 – Cafayate

On your last morning at House of Jasmines, please enjoy your breakfast as you prepare to jump on our private transfer that will take you to Cafayate, another gem of the north. During the drive, you’ll get to see the Quebrada de las Conchas, an amazing geological formation with an English-speaking guide who will show you the most incredible formations with stops along the way. When you arrive at the astonishing Grace Cafayate Hotel, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the spa and a horseback riding experience, followed by a wine and goat cheese tasting from their own local production. Younger visitors can also visit the cheese factory and goat pens there.

Day 10 – Cafayate

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll prepare to enjoy the Cafayate wine route at its best. We have a full-day wineries tour for you. The terroir, altitude, and thermal amplitude contribute to the unique qualities, character, and personality of the region’s wines. The proposal is to visit different wineries and learn about their particularities. In the morning, you´ll visit the Museum of Vine and Wine, and the winery Finca el Recreo, or El Porvenir. At noon, you’ll head to one of these wineries: Piattelli, Finca Las Nubes, or Viñas en Flor, for a lunch experience overlooking the vineyards. In the afternoon, you continue the tour and go to Yacochuya, a beautiful valley region at 2000 meters above sea level, to taste wines from that area. Finally, you’ll conclude by visiting some charming boutique wineries like Domingo Molina, San Pedro de Yacochuya, or Burbujas.

Day 11 – End of Trip

Have the last breakfast of this trip at the hotel and jump on our private transfer for a smooth ride to the International Airport of Salta where you’ll board your flight to Buenos Aires. Make sure you don’t forget anything as we say our last farewell. We hope to see you again soon!

The place is beautiful. It is literally in the middle of the salt flat. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. You can go to the pools, with a talk and photo session. There are 6 glamping sites. I stayed in the 3rd. It was very well equipped. The only thing was that the bathroom floor was caved in.Very delicious food: delicious snack and breakfast. I didn't love the dinner but maybe I didn't choose the right dish (I found the Llama very hard and the humita very salty). Very rich wines. The starry sky at night is incredible.

I stayed at Pristine Luxury Camps and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was perfect, each dish better than the last (I highlight the onion texture), and the wines were simply spectacular. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, from the flavors to the presentation.I want to make a special mention to Alfio, the receptionist and winemaker, who took great care of us and made us feel super welcome. In addition, he explained everything to us about the wines we tried, the Pristine project and recommended places to visit; You can tell that he is passionate about what he does and that he knows a lot.Something that I loved is that the project integrates local communities and promotes responsible tourism, for example being the Tres Morros meeting point, a town with only 8 families. We must also mention Facundo, our tour guide, who was super friendly and explained the entire salt extraction process to us and helped us understand a little more about the local culture.Obviously, we must not fail to mention how wonderful the landscape is. It is a dream place, surrounded by nature and with a proposal that is really worth it. 100% recommended!

Since it is billed as a "luxury" campsite, I expected better attention to detail. The maintenance of our dome was quite poor (the bathroom floor was broken and sunken for example).Beyond the above, the proposal is truly original and manages to connect with the environment while maintaining a very good level of service.

Excellent experience!! Great service! It was a delight for the eyes and the tummy 🤭🤭The domes are beautiful, very equipped! The views both day and night are divine. The food at the place is very very delicious. And the attention of the most warm and friendly staff. I carry Flor in my heart because we talk about everything!Highly recommended for a different experience 👌🏻

Wonderful place.Super professional team Alfio, Martín and Facundo take care of guests with friendliness and good humor.Super comfort inside and outside the domes. The glass of Torrontés at sunset and the moonlight exit after dinner are spectacular moments (special mention to Martín for sharing what he knows about astronomy and how well he explains it).Nico & Meri

In giving three stars I might not be just with them because it is definitely an experience to be there and I totally recommend it. Go you won’t regret it but my only recommendation is that if you stay for two nights be suspicious of a magical trip they offer you during the day for a small town quite far away from there, unless you want to do poverty tourism and listen to woke politics about how bad is investing in lithium while you are hungry abd force me out of pity to buy you a hat made of llama. Magical would have been to keep politics away abd let me stay with nature, read a book watching the honey combs salts abd joy the great food abd service you provide. It was an unnecessary excursion. One more thing nowadays with starlink there is no excuse not to have WiFi through the whole place. But other than that I totally recommend it as a once of a lifetime experience- just keep politics abd poverty away, that’s why we escape to places like that

Very good experience. Very delicious food and well created atmosphere. The only thing is a little cold in the morning and if you reserve a single day it will be a bit short since it is from 3pm to 10am. Good hot water, very comfortable rooms and impressive views. The guides are very good and knowledgeable.

An amazing opportunity to spend the night with a small group of people right on the Salinas, to learn about its history and importance to the Kolla. Pristine has done a wonderful job of handling the logistics, offering a gourmet dinner, along with snack and breakfast, cozy domes with fireplaces, and more. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it. Damian and the entire team were very invested in making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish we had stayed two days and investigated other nearby villages.

With Kachi Lodge in Uyuni being closed, this remains one of the best (and only) way to glamp through a massive salt flat in the region. I think they deliver on most fronts, the food was enjoyable (not perfect, but way better than every other restaurant we had in the province), and service once in the hotel was fantastic. They even stayed to make sure we connected with an onward taxi to the Chilean border when the taxi was late, on a nearby highway. The main area of improvement was for arrival, which was pretty awkward. None of the staff there spoke English, nor had any signs or uniform to indicate that they were with the hotel. It was a little alarming when they randomly took our luggage bags and told us to wait, because we weren’t even sure if we were in the right place.

Out of this world. A life long memory from this place. Beuatiful, worth every penny. The experience, the staff, the food, the ecological mindset... All make this place so very special and memorable. Its clearly very expensive and a treat for us but the best place we stayed in argentina, the bed was so comfortable, the food was superb, attention to guests needs, next level and the setting and scenary are clearly something you don't want to miss. We couldn't say thank you enough to the staff for the way they went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable.

Your Accommodation

El Manantial del Silencio | Purmamarca

Fling wide the windows in the morning: the view from your room is the vivid red, cream, green, and aubergine rock of the celebrated Cerro de Siete Colores (the ‘Rock of Seven Colours’). The hotel is in keeping with its spirit: a white monastic-style building, with spare wrought-iron details. Inside, luxury comes in wide spaces, flamboyantly colored locally woven rugs, carved wood, 19 comfortable bedrooms, a spa, and a separate house. The cuisine is award-winning and the pool is gorgeous. The elegant simplicity instills a sense of peace, allowing you to unwind and absorb the ancient serenity of Andean culture. This hotel truly lives up to its name: ‘the wellspring of silence’.

It is a very nice, but old, colonial-style hotel. different from what one is used to in Purmamarca (more typical and warm places)The room was a bit small, without many things, rather basic. We didn't like the dinner service. The food is not great, we tried it the first night and the next we preferred to go to dinner in town.Maybe if the price of the hotel wasn't so excessive I would have given it all the stars. But since this is not the case, one expects much more than what they offer you.
I came with my family to eat at the hotel restaurant. The beautiful place and the delicious, abundant food, with an extensive menu and above all, excellent service. Very friendly, Carina attended to us.

Quality with viewsAlthough it was not the first time, this time we only went for lunch. Even though we arrived later than expected, they accommodated us without any problems. We were given a choice and we chose to eat outside as it was a sunny day. Located at a table next to the pool, we were served quickly and kindly. We ate a salad and a spectacular goat ribs casserole. All washed down with a Malbec wine from 2019. Right from the door of the hotel you can see the mountain of seven colors, the main tourist attraction of the town. Therefore, an unbeatable location for a category establishment.

Good hotel. Close to town. Rooms done to international standards. The WiFi does not work in the rooms. The restaurant menu is a little high end, given the rustic location, but there are lots of other dining options nearby.

POOR SERVICE & basic food. Location & building are lovely … but breakfast is very very poor (terrible coffee ) and staff doesn’t even bother offering more than is on show ( unless you ask). So we got an omelette but seemed too much trouble. No help with bags from the car - even though On arrival gentleman helped bring them up the stairs;Staff seemed bothered .. quiet but not a friendly welcoming.. “do the basic” - no effort engaging ..Service is depressing… and rooms need a rug to make it feel less “rustic” and bland…

Nice surrounds and setting. Room is comfortable. Staff were busy with a function that day and service could be slightly more attentive, for example it was often that we had to track down staff members for service and we struggled with out bags on our way out without assistance in opening and closing the manual door. It’s not bad but it wouldn’t take much more to be great.

We love this place! Beautiful grounds, attentive staff, great restaurant, excellent spa and massage, a real horse ride with a real horse and real cowboys.Everything was perfect, and we all know how rare that is.We just left and we already want to go back! And back we went…they just make us happy!
A delightful part of the world if you want to stay near Salta, excellent service, quiet & large property in a beautiful atmospheric context. If you can, don't miss a night and diner there!

Great service and restaurant. The location is ok if you’re not planning to go out much, nothing to do close by. We got a really nice suggestion from the concierge and made an incredible trip up to Jujuy and back for the day at our own vehicle. No jacuzzi, outside pool and no heated, so only spa, riding horses or walking around… not many activities. Just for relaxation.Breakfast was good with quality homemade pastries. Restaurant was very good on evenings.
You don't know if to stay in the city or in San Lorenzo area, get something really different: House of Jasmines is not a stay in a hotel, but is a wonderful experience. The setting, the service, the restaurant, but above all the people, they are amazing, we felt not only welcome but also pumpered. Alex, Fernando and Ubaldo in the restaurant were over the top.

Spectacular hotel. We stayed in the houses and the views of the vineyards at sunset are incredible. The only objectionable thing is the restaurant but I would return without a doubt.

Very loud music from the construction next door. You could not relax. When I asked the staff of the hotel if they could do something about it, they said no as it doesn’t depend on them. I told their staff that such loud music is forbidden in estancia and that they should advise “porteria” of it. They responded we don’t even know what parcel number (lote) it is. I told them that porteria has a map and they can locate it. To sum up. They were unhelpful. You don’t pay over USD 250 a night to have this type of issue plus unhelpful staff. When I arrived, I paid with a foreign credit card and have a foreign passport so I am entitled to not pay tax (IVA). They said they also needed my partner to be foreigner and present his passport for this. Another thing that doesn’t make any sense. In the sauna rooms there is no water. You are doing a sauna session and have to walk soaking wet to the front desk of the spa to poor yourself water. They should really trained their staff to the hotel standards.

The place is beautiful, we were in the largest suite the hotel has and it is truly beautiful. They left us a gift of wine and because we were on our honeymoon they gave us a table with chocolates. The restaurant has really good food. Super recommended.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon, we stayed in the suite, the best in the hotel. The truth is that I have no complaints with the facilities or the staff since they were very attentive and the place was beautiful, but I do have two observations. When we went to bed, when we opened the sheet, 3 biting bugs (chinchillas) came out. Then there were two more hanging around. I couldn't fall asleep thinking that more bugs were going to come out and bite my legs. Then it's a shame that the toads get into the main pool, they could put something to prevent them from getting in, maybe, I don't know. They gave us some chocolates for our wedding, but they charge you for the coffee capsules.

The restaurant is good. Although if you order an expresso coffee at breakfast they charge you separately.... Desire to be seen for a coffee. The indoor heated pool is small, the outdoor one is nice but they could put the water at 29 degrees and it would be a pleasure. The single-lever faucet in the bathroom works poorly.... As almost always..... You burn or freeze. The environment is very nice. The attention is meticulous.

A fantastic place! The hotel deserves every one of its stars. It is within Estancias de Cafayate, a real estate development with houses surrounded by vineyards, a golf course and polo, very nice to explore by bicycle.
Excellent
Grace is a hotel of a caliber more than adequate for the area and for the visiting public located within the Estancia. Its rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable and enjoy a pleasant stay, available within it or in the Villa. It has an outdoor pool, and also a very good heated pool, sauna and spa with views of the vineyards and the ranch as well as the rooms. The care provided was very good and adequate. They also give you the possibility of leaving your luggage once your stay is over and continuing to use the facilities and amenities until 8:00 p.m. on the same day. Highly recommended

Had an excellent stay. The attention from the staff was excellent. The hotel is incredibly quiet, clean and well maintained. They were very accommodating with all of our requests. Massages at the spa were one of the bests I’ve had. Sometimes the music during breakfast was a bit intense.

We had a bad experience in their restaurant: food took too long to be served and then they brought the main dish before the entrance and blamed us for ordering them all together (which was a request from the waitress). She was very unfriendly and had a bad mood all the evening. We never came back. Surprisingly after this event, we started having little troubles with overall service like a reprisal. We have booked an entire villa with ofuro, which is absolutely NOT TO RECOMMEND since if you use the ofuro, you run out of water inside the house and cannot take a bath for example. We made a wonderful trip through northwest Argentina during15 days and we truly suggest not to book this hotel.

Nice location not far from the city. The gentlemen at the reception (I thought Alfredo) were very friendly. Rooms luxurious and clean. The dinner in the hotel was ok but a lot more expensive than in the city and the service was mediocre. (not everyone likes working there, I think). The golf course was a no-go, green fee 100USD (expensive!), 15 USD for 3 golf balls and then rent a bag and golf cart, (more expensive than in Europe, so no thanks) The wellness is very good.

The hotel is spectacular, the first day I had a couple of problems, but they quickly solved it, I had a spectacular birthday with the whole family. Thank you very much to everyone for your attention and to Florencia who was concerned so that we did not miss anything. The food and breakfast is highly recommended. Thanks for everything.

Our experience at Grace Hotel Cafayate was wonderful. The rooms are very large, the beds are very comfortable and all the staff is very detailed and attentive.Breakfast is varied, complete and very rich.It has a spa and heated pool which are great. We highly recommend this place, whether as a couple or as a family with children. From some rooms the sunrise looks impressive and from others you can see the sunset. (Our room was oriented to see the sunrise.)We will surely return soon.

A true Paradise in Cafayate!
Excellent atention. The food is top notch. The views of the vineyard and the mountains are excellent. Modern and very comfortable rooms. Internet is flying. I fully recommend the place. It is in the facilities of a country house and you can eat at the neighborhood house as well. With excellent food

Without a doubt a first-class resort! We stayed from 06/22 to 06/24, since we arrived we felt at home! The location of the hotel is incredible, the views it has, the landscape, the vineyard, everything is beautiful! Everyone's attention was excellent, thanks to Martin who left us a pancake for my dad's birthday to celebrate on Saturday!! Always very attentive and so is the rest of the staff. The breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was also spectacular.Without a doubt I will return to this beautiful place for a few more days!

There were 5 of us, we stayed in a complete villa. Very big and very comfortable. At breakfast they had several options suitable for celiacs. Very friendly and helpful employees. We used the spa with massages, good. And also the internal pool, very good.
Flawless. The place is beautiful and the staff is excellent all the time. The service is very good and the food is exquisite. They have gluten-free options, the bread is very delicious and they are attentive to dietary restrictions. The best place if you go to Cafayate.Point for improvement: The water is not drinkable so they should put a dispenser in common areas. The beds sink a little.

The winery hotel is really wonderful. Nice views, great rooms, quiet and privacy house! Nice foods of the restaurant. Reception service has been kind. The SPA and massage service, including the facilities are so wonderful. The only short-come should be the English ability of the waiters in the restaurant because offer us the wrong dishes we ordered even we have double confirmed with them with the menu. For a great winery hotel , it should improve its welcome language for international customers.

The hotel is located in a gated community on a huge piece of land. You will want a car or at least hire their bikes to get into Cafayate as the walk to the front gate is already about 2km.Our villa was comfortable with a wonderful view of the mountains.Dinner at additional cost and breakfast, included, were tasty and included a good range of vegetarian options.Special shout-out to the massages offered at the spa! The deep tissue massage was very well done in a comfortable environment and at a very competitive rate for such a hotel!
