As the day winds down, return to Purmamarca to catch the breathtaking sunset from Cerro El Morado Viewpoint before heading back to the lodging for a relaxing evening.

Jump on our private transfer to Piedras Blancas where you’ll be picked up by another private transfer and taken directly to the camp. The first day at the camp is not short to extraordinary. Visit Pristine Camps’ exclusive Piletones del Salar (Salt Pools) to learn about the salt extraction process. After sunset, a magical experience comes alive where you’ll get to interpret the constellations at night.
* Meals included throughout the whole stay.
Day 4 – Pristine Camp
Full Day Excursion to Barrancas. It is an archaeological interpretation experience where you visit the Municipal Reserve, the “Piedra Mapa” circuit and the new Archeology Interpretation Center of the town of Barrancas. Includes gourmet lunch in the bed of the Barrancas River. The tour is done aboard a vehicle or combined with trekking (optional).
Day 5 – Pristine Camp
As you start your third day at the camp, fuel up to enjoy a day full of tradition. Full Day Excursion to Alfarcito. During the tour, you will visit the town of Alfarcito and its main attractions, the viewpoint of the town and the town of Rinconadilla. Includes lunch at the Alfarcito Community Center or at the Guayatayoc lagoon, depending on the season.

Day 6 – Salta
As you wake up on your last morning in Purmamarca, our private transfer will pick you up after breakfast and take you to Salta, the next stop on this trip. At the hotel, we invite you to a two-hour horseback ride experience. The gauchos will guide you through the paths and hideaways of the Estancia. Then, our next activity prepared for you is an empanada cooking class with the chef. We start by making the dough. Then it’s time to prepare the empanada filling. Salteñas empanadas are known for having potatoes in the filling. During the workshop, you’ll learn to make different types of fillings. Once the filling is ready, you’ll master the famous “repulgue” technique. It takes a bit of practice, but by the end of the class, you’ll be an expert at “repulgue.” Congratulations, Your empanadas are ready to go in the oven!
Day 7 – Salta
Today you’ll get to venture into San Antonio de Cobres. Starting from Salta and heading southwest on National Route 51 through the Lerma Valley, you’ll pass Campo Quijano and enter the Quebrada del Toro. Here begins a continuous ascent, always accompanied by the tracks of the famous Tren de las Nubes (Train to the Clouds). We reach the village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, visit its ruins of the same name, and continue ascending to the highest point at 4080 meters above sea level, known as Abra Blanca. Afterward, you’ll descend to San Antonio where, following lunch and a village visit, we return to Salta.
Special Highlights:
* Experience Turu Maky, where we engage with women from a cooperative dedicated to crafting artisanal ceramics. During this activity, they teach us about their raw material (clay), how they process it, and even invite us to create a piece with our own hands. The piece remains with the cooperative, and we take home one that another visitor has already made and fired.
* Visit Anatolio and his llamas enterprise. Anatolio is a young llama herder who will guide us into the life of shepherding, sharing his anecdotes, stories, and experiences amidst his own llama herd.
Day 8 – Salta

Day 9 – Cafayate
On your last morning at House of Jasmines, please enjoy your breakfast as you prepare to jump on our private transfer that will take you to Cafayate, another gem of the north. During the drive, you’ll get to see the Quebrada de las Conchas, an amazing geological formation with an English-speaking guide who will show you the most incredible formations with stops along the way. When you arrive at the astonishing Grace Cafayate Hotel, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the spa and a horseback riding experience, followed by a wine and goat cheese tasting from their own local production. Younger visitors can also visit the cheese factory and goat pens there.
Day 10 – Cafayate
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll prepare to enjoy the Cafayate wine route at its best. We have a full-day wineries tour for you. The terroir, altitude, and thermal amplitude contribute to the unique qualities, character, and personality of the region’s wines. The proposal is to visit different wineries and learn about their particularities. In the morning, you´ll visit the Museum of Vine and Wine, and the winery Finca el Recreo, or El Porvenir. At noon, you’ll head to one of these wineries: Piattelli, Finca Las Nubes, or Viñas en Flor, for a lunch experience overlooking the vineyards. In the afternoon, you continue the tour and go to Yacochuya, a beautiful valley region at 2000 meters above sea level, to taste wines from that area. Finally, you’ll conclude by visiting some charming boutique wineries like Domingo Molina, San Pedro de Yacochuya, or Burbujas.
Day 11 – End of Trip
Have the last breakfast of this trip at the hotel and jump on our private transfer for a smooth ride to the International Airport of Salta where you’ll board your flight to Buenos Aires. Make sure you don’t forget anything as we say our last farewell. We hope to see you again soon!

Your Accommodation
Pristine Luxury Camp | Salt Flats | Jujuy
Between heaven and earth, where there are no borders and the landscape offers a unique spectacle in the world, this unique experience awaits you. The setting and scenery are something you don’t want to miss. You‘ll enjoy: *Full board: breakfast, tea, lunch, and dinner with regional products.
Includes local drinks and wines. The on-site menu is curated by chef Mariana Garcia del Rio and features Argentinian ingredients paired with wines sourced from the nearby Colomé vineyard.
*Experiences: programmed activities with specialized local guides.

The lunch, dinner, breakfast, and afternoon snack service are excellent.
There are products suitable for celiacs.
Rev a Tres Morros, our guide takes us in the 4x4. We left for a few dozen minutes of driving.
Stop at the first salt “ponds” with explanations. Then we arrive at the Pristine camps.
A warm welcome and impeccable service.
We were alone (almost privileged).
The calm is pleasant, the view magnificent and time passes so quickly.
A tour of the rooms shows us that the night can be very pleasant and comfortable despite the “lunar” decor and the cold autumn nights.
Unique experience, very good level service.
Some very small details can be improved,
But price quality ratio is fine.
They are very dedicated in their attention, but as sometimes happens, there were some details. The breakfast was poor in variety (not serious) but what did bother me was how cold it was in the breakfast room. I asked and they told me it was 2 degrees. And there was not a single stove on. We had breakfast wrapped in blankets. ( Awful)
This lodge is totally the opposite of local communities interest
There are 6 glamping sites. I stayed in the 3rd. It was very well equipped. The only thing was that the bathroom floor was caved in.
Very delicious food: delicious snack and breakfast. I didn't love the dinner but maybe I didn't choose the right dish (I found the Llama very hard and the humita very salty). Very rich wines.
The starry sky at night is incredible.
I want to make a special mention to Alfio, the receptionist and winemaker, who took great care of us and made us feel super welcome. In addition, he explained everything to us about the wines we tried, the Pristine project and recommended places to visit; You can tell that he is passionate about what he does and that he knows a lot.
Something that I loved is that the project integrates local communities and promotes responsible tourism, for example being the Tres Morros meeting point, a town with only 8 families. We must also mention Facundo, our tour guide, who was super friendly and explained the entire salt extraction process to us and helped us understand a little more about the local culture.
Obviously, we must not fail to mention how wonderful the landscape is. It is a dream place, surrounded by nature and with a proposal that is really worth it. 100% recommended!
Beyond the above, the proposal is truly original and manages to connect with the environment while maintaining a very good level of service.
It was a delight for the eyes and the tummy 🤭🤭
The domes are beautiful, very equipped! The views both day and night are divine. The food at the place is very very delicious. And the attention of the most warm and friendly staff. I carry Flor in my heart because we talk about everything!
Highly recommended for a different experience 👌🏻
Super professional team Alfio, Martín and Facundo take care of guests with friendliness and good humor.
Super comfort inside and outside the domes.
The glass of Torrontés at sunset and the moonlight exit after dinner are spectacular moments (special mention to Martín for sharing what he knows about astronomy and how well he explains it).
Nico & Meri
One more thing nowadays with starlink there is no excuse not to have WiFi through the whole place.
But other than that I totally recommend it as a once of a lifetime experience- just keep politics abd poverty away, that’s why we escape to places like that
Absolute lack of empathy with the passenger since the cost is high
It's one of those things you have to do
La moche is truly a unique experience
The main area of improvement was for arrival, which was pretty awkward. None of the staff there spoke English, nor had any signs or uniform to indicate that they were with the hotel. It was a little alarming when they randomly took our luggage bags and told us to wait, because we weren’t even sure if we were in the right place.

El Manantial del Silencio | Purmamarca
Fling wide the windows in the morning: the view from your room is the vivid red, cream, green, and aubergine rock of the celebrated Cerro de Siete Colores (the ‘Rock of Seven Colours’). The hotel is in keeping with its spirit: a white monastic-style building, with spare wrought-iron details. Inside, luxury comes in wide spaces, flamboyantly colored locally woven rugs, carved wood, 19 comfortable bedrooms, a spa, and a separate house. The cuisine is award-winning and the pool is gorgeous. The elegant simplicity instills a sense of peace, allowing you to unwind and absorb the ancient serenity of Andean culture. This hotel truly lives up to its name: ‘the wellspring of silence’.

Jasmkne's reception service is outstanding!
The cordiality and attention at the reception is excellent
From the reception to the restaurant it is unbeatable!!!
The attention is a 10 and the food is spectacular!!! Each dish had extraordinary flavors! Everything is very good and especially the super affordable prices. I would definitely return!
The cuisine is excellent, and the SPA is 10/10! I had a massage session with Gisela that I SUPER recommend!!! a genius
There are no shops of any kind in the area, so they let us know and offered to prepare dinner for us, which was very delicious.
Breakfast with very good homemade bread and sweets.
Correct rooms.
The room was a bit small, without many things, rather basic.
We didn't like the dinner service. The food is not great, we tried it the first night and the next we preferred to go to dinner in town.
Maybe if the price of the hotel wasn't so excessive I would have given it all the stars.
But since this is not the case, one expects much more than what they offer you.
You can also stay at the hotel, it is a cozy house with collectible decoration, the views are beautiful, a must-see place if you visit Purmamarca.
Atmosphere of the place is very warm. We wait for our table in the warmth of the fire. Next time we would love to stay because one thing the place has is that it has a spa but only for guests. It also has a little shop where they sell beautiful period paintings and also wines and teas.
The food is delicious and completely worth those few extra pesos that any place in the area costs.
Although it was not the first time, this time we only went for lunch. Even though we arrived later than expected, they accommodated us without any problems. We were given a choice and we chose to eat outside as it was a sunny day. Located at a table next to the pool, we were served quickly and kindly. We ate a salad and a spectacular goat ribs casserole. All washed down with a Malbec wine from 2019. Right from the door of the hotel you can see the mountain of seven colors, the main tourist attraction of the town. Therefore, an unbeatable location for a category establishment.
We went to have a drink and eat some desserts.
Recommended Crème Brûlée and apple pie
Very delicious food, varied breakfast, everything homemade.
My only criticism is for the spa, very nice but poorly heated, the jacuzzi was cold, a shame, you can't fully enjoy it...
Otherwise I would definitely return!!
Staff seemed bothered .. quiet but not a friendly welcoming.. “do the basic” - no effort engaging ..
Service is depressing… and rooms need a rug to make it feel less “rustic” and bland…

House of Jasmines | Salta
This incredible hotel is an experience on its own. At the end of an alley lined with eucalyptus trees, a century-old estancia welcomes travelers for an unforgettable stay. A symbol of the art of hospitality dear to the Fenestraz family, the suites allow you to enjoy absolute comfort and evoke softness and refinement. The ideal starting point to explore the diverse landscapes of Northern Argentina, home to many natural wonders, and relax in the spa after a day of exploring where saunas, massages, and a pool await you.
I ordered a cake the day before because it was my wife's birthday and they forgot.
Pros:
- We were warmly welcomed with a drink and given a personalised tour of the estate, which set the tone for a wonderful stay.
- The staff were consistently attentive, from reception to the restaurant, making us feel well cared for.
- A lovely touch: the staff prepared the bed and left complimentary chocolates during our absence in the evening.
- A fruit bowl and water were provided in the room, a nice extra.
- The estate itself is absolutely charming, with a large garden, horses, a swimming pool, and beautiful common spaces.
- Dinner was fantastic, with fresh ingredients sourced from the estate's garden, which made for a memorable meal.
Cons:
- The rooms are quite small for the price, so it’s something to consider if you’re looking for more space.
- The gym was poorly equipped, and the treadmill had a safety issue where the speed would suddenly decrease, which was concerning.
- The takeaway breakfast should be packed in sturdier bags. Unfortunately, the bag was wet, causing all the food to fall on the floor.
- It's a bit disappointing that the vanilla ice cream was made with vanilla extract rather than real vanilla beans, especially at this type of establishment.
- Breakfast could be improved, particularly with better pastries and more variety in the options.
Overall, this is a peaceful, charming place with attentive staff and lovely surroundings, though there are a few areas for improvement.
Delicious food, remarkable service.
The snack was reduced quite a bit but still very delicious
It’s remarkable service, outstanding decoration and relaxing nature connection
They made us spend an unforgettable vacation. Eternally grateful!!
Something to improve was the temperature of the pool, but taking that aside, everything was very nice and recommended!
My husband and I spent a couple of days and we didn’t wanted to leave .
Is a very relaxing place with lots of nature and the service was outstanding.
Beautiful details on everything and great food at the restaurant.
Love this place.
Horse riding is highly recommended.
Incredible retreat in a heaven of peace. Try the horse riding with Gaucho Diego Amante if you have the opportunity
You can also use the heated outdoor pool. Includes a snack or snack... in our case the snack included an infusion, two cooked and raw ham sandwiches, and a portion of very delicious pear tart.
All the staff were super attentive and loving. The facilities are beautiful and everything is super neat.
Everything was perfect, and we all know how rare that is.
We just left and we already want to go back!
And back we went…they just make us happy!
No jacuzzi, outside pool and no heated, so only spa, riding horses or walking around… not many activities. Just for relaxation.
Breakfast was good with quality homemade pastries. Restaurant was very good on evenings.

Your Accommodation
Grace | Cafayate
A luxury hotel with a spa nestled in ‘La Estancia de Cafayate’, a secluded 1,360 acre residential and sporting estate in the heart of an area famed for its spectacular scenery, outstanding wines and equestrian sports, the superb facilities at La Estancia de Cafayate that include one of the most prestigious golf courses in South America, a lively clubhouse and polo fields as well as access to the estate’s vineyards.
This time, we decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy all its amenities. Its spa and massages are something I never miss. As is walking through the vineyards and enjoying a picnic in the nearby grove.
Tip and recommendation: don't miss out on touring the surrounding area on the hotel's bicycles. It's a great program!
And also the "Harmony of Flavors" experience, which is a course menu paired with incredible local wines.
Then we ordered some pizzas with tomato and basil, they didn't have basil.
Friendly but slow attention.
The fries and onion rings tasted like old oil. The dry burger. The food is not up to par with the place and the price.
Sauna and pool all very good and consistent.
Breakfast is very complete and well served.
The restaurant is clearly not haute cuisine and the food didn't surprise me but it was good.
We will return without a doubt.
Excellent quality/price ratio
The place is divine
The staff is very friendly, but there are small details that I think should be taken into account:
When you get to the room, they don't have the detail of leaving a couple of bottles of water for guests, like in absolutely all hotels of a certain category. If you want water, you have to use the minibar. The same with coffee capsules. They don't give you complimentary coffee, you also have to pay for it from the minibar.
These are things that I have not seen in any hotel, it seems very shabby to me, honestly.
On the other hand, breakfast has very little variety and the coffee is terrible.
These are details that should be taken into account in a hotel like this.
Excellent staff. Lack of maintenance in general. All the activities proposed (pottery, massages, etc.) never had a turn despite having been there for 7 days. Restaurant of improvable quality. Good quality breakfast but lack of variety.
The place is a dream. I highly recommend asking for the bikes and exploring. The service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very delicious and the breakfast is very complete. I really couldn't be more comfortable. We even wanted to extend one more night
However, there are a few things that need to be improved for a 5 star hotel at this price:
- We had reserved for three evenings via email & WhatsApp and received a written confirmation. However, every evening we were faced with clueless faces and they seemed to have no idea about our reservation.
- The rooms are great as long as you don't have any neighbors. As soon as someone moves in above you, you can hear every step more than clearly.
- The air conditioning in the room is WAY TOO LOUD!
- The indoor pool area smells unpleasant.
The only objectionable thing is the restaurant but I would return without a doubt.
When I arrived, I paid with a foreign credit card and have a foreign passport so I am entitled to not pay tax (IVA). They said they also needed my partner to be foreigner and present his passport for this. Another thing that doesn’t make any sense.
In the sauna rooms there is no water. You are doing a sauna session and have to walk soaking wet to the front desk of the spa to poor yourself water.
They should really trained their staff to the hotel standards.
They gave us some chocolates for our wedding, but they charge you for the coffee capsules.
The indoor heated pool is small, the outdoor one is nice but they could put the water at 29 degrees and it would be a pleasure.
The single-lever faucet in the bathroom works poorly.... As almost always..... You burn or freeze. The environment is very nice. The attention is meticulous.
The attention is great, the collaborators are very attentive to everything.
I went out of season and it was good because there weren't that many people.
The spa (sauna and pool) very clean.
Very complete breakfast.
Super recommended!
Excellent everything!! We spent some wonderful days
Breakfast is varied, complete and very rich.
It has a spa and heated pool which are great.
We highly recommend this place, whether as a couple or as a family with children.
From some rooms the sunrise looks impressive and from others you can see the sunset. (Our room was oriented to see the sunrise.)
We will surely return soon.
The breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was also spectacular.
Without a doubt I will return to this beautiful place for a few more days!
Point for improvement: The water is not drinkable so they should put a dispenser in common areas. The beds sink a little.
The only short-come should be the English ability of the waiters in the restaurant because offer us the wrong dishes we ordered even we have double confirmed with them with the menu. For a great winery hotel , it should improve its welcome language for international customers.
You will want a car or at least hire their bikes to get into Cafayate as the walk to the front gate is already about 2km.
Our villa was comfortable with a wonderful view of the mountains.
Dinner at additional cost and breakfast, included, were tasty and included a good range of vegetarian options.
Special shout-out to the massages offered at the spa! The deep tissue massage was very well done in a comfortable environment and at a very competitive rate for such a hotel!
